Dream a little Dream, then make it happen.
When you find out that one of your favourite games is never getting the sequel you thought it was going to, what do you do?
Well me, I would scream and shout then sulk for a week but no the team over at Sernur.tech, oh no, they decided that what they would do was to make their dream game and now us lucky gamers have Trigon.
When I say now, I mean soon, now I have it though and well I have been waiting some time to play it, we are going to do a bit of that on stream next week, or if you are reading this is the future, we did play it and I posted the link to the VOD at the bottom of the article so you can go there and watch it.
If you are reading this is in that past, call me and tell me what I am going to say so I can right faster.
So Trigon: Space Story takes a hint or 3 from FTL, it started it’s development life in 2019, a team of just five people developed a prototype in 3 months and showcase the title at a conference in Minsk, it went down pretty well and so the team moved forward with the project. 2 more people were brought onto the team late 2019/early 2020 and the alpha was complete by June of that year.
The game has developed from a 2D title to a 3D title with some very nice looking effects, gameplay mechanics and a roadmap that is very exciting. I for one love, well pretty much anything space related, so I am pretty excited and have been for some time, I was gutted when they had to put the game back but we all know these things happen and it is always best for the game.
Hopefully we are getting close to the Early Access release but for now you can watch the trailer below and and look upon, with stunned amazement, some of the beautiful screenshots below the trailer and past the games roadmap.
