Is it Almighty yet?

I covered Almighty Kill Your Gods on the channel a couple months back when it released to Early Access and I said at the time it was a very entertaining game that had a lot of potential to be hugely satisfying once it released, that is was well worth the current price in Early Access if you wanted to help with bugs and so on.

Well there have been 2 sizable updates and some smaller ones, so is it Almighty yet?

The answer is naturally going to be not entirely yet, that is no surprise it is still in Early Access and needs work but and it is a HUGE but, it is getting there I have played the patches as they drop and each one gets better. There still some issues and frame rate drops but that is to be expected in Early Access.

I saw a drastic improvement visiting other islands and completing extractions, they were easier the lower the enemies Anger (wanted) level was and harder as it grew but it still needs more balancing, again to be expected. I also saw keys for chest drop which never happened in my early sessions so that is nice

Overall there are marked improvements and if they continue at this pace the game is going to be huge fun by the time it hits 1.0 release, the key is going to be delivering content to keep players coming back, getting the balancing right and increasing performance.

One little thing that stood out and mad me chuckle was the little comments from the Kindred as you pass them are amusing and make you feel that those little critters with the big ears (no ear shamming!) are actually paying attention rather than just running around gathering stuff.

I have still not managed to play the Co-Op yet, only because I need to find someone with the game to play with, I prefer to play with people I know, I know what kind of blogy-streaming-reviewer person am I but I hear it is going well with the updates too, I cannot comment though as I have no first hand experience.
