Ubisoft’s E3 2021

Watched Ubisoft show and it was muted (I think they all will be this year) but very good, here are a few thoughts

Avatar looked very pretty and thought the trailer didn’t give much away it certainly look like all the stuff from the first movie was included, it will be interesting to see if this focuses on single player story or large scale PVP, choose a faction to fight for over Pandora’s resources and jump into combat over large regions of the planet, what’s your bet?

Year 2 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was a nice surprise, so not only will we get content that is included with the current season but there will be free and paid content for another year of the game, this is fantastic news!

Loving what they are doing with WatchDogs, Aiden and Wrench are coming back in Bloodlines DLC, we still have more to come from the season pass and I hope we get Year 2 on this game too.

The separate WatchDogs Legion of the Dead is also currently in alpha and available to people with the game.

No Division 2 discussions was odd, Considering they have the separate game coming and a ton of content over another year of play.

Rainbow Six Extraction looks the dogs Danglers, it is a shame the Co-Op is only 3 player again but hey, we play what we get and god damn if I am gonna play the shit outta this.

FarCry 6 is looking damn good too and they are saying you can choose 1st person or 3rd person for the first time ever in a FarCry game which is a huge tick for me.

I am a little concerned it is going to feel a little like Just Cause with a different protagonist but I think the dark undertones of the characters will make sure it stays different.

Rider’s Republic looks ace for those who used to like SSX type games! Multi-Discipline Extreme sport mayhem has never looked so much fun and if they can replicate what they did with Crew 2 on this format it will be amazing, can you believe Crew 2 is still getting content!

Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope looks a lot of fun if this is you kinda game and it is great to see this unique crossover still going on, Ubisoft and Nintendo really must get along well. It is a shame if is exclusive to the Switch but it is not the end of the world.

Currently Ubisoft is celebrating all this good news with some big discounts on their store so head over and check them out.

There is a lot to be happy about if you are, like me, UbiFanBoy and if you are not, well there is a little something for everyone anyway.
