Tools Of War-hammered into Content Drop
Fathsark, the Developers and Publisher of Wahammer:Vermintide 1 & 2, Warhammer:Darktide and a good few other titles over the years have a bit of a rough time of it since the launch of the aforementioned Darktide which, while a solid title, had some features missing and less than stellar perfomance upon release.
The fan base was quick to comment and feedback but their following silence left the fans concerned and confused but a heartfelt letter from the head of Fatshark made it clear that the company new what it had to do and that it was committed to seeing the title flourish, to deliver what the fans wanted.
They paused work on the console version of the game and over the last couple of months they have delivered content drops to fix, fine tune and optimise their newest project, today sees the release of yet another such drop.
It should be pointed out that I have a special place in both my heart (I’m a long time Warhammer video game fan) and my stream as I am a Partner with Fathsark for the title. While I do love the game I can atest that at launch it was less than it could have been however it was still a stellar title and one I enjoyed very much.
To be clear I recieve nothing financially for my partnership, I got a copy of the game free and that is it, I tell you this so you understand my words are my own as is my opinion.
I have not played it as much as I wanted to and should have recently but in shifting my stream about I have begun my return to those titles that take a perminant place in the schedule and I have to say they have made some very nice changes, not all are covered above, you will need to head to their YouTube channel for the others, but the above gives you a good idea of how much work is going into the title right now.
If this is a title you have been on the fence about since launch or have taken some time away from after launch, check out the trailer, head over to the YouTube channel and see what else they have been doing, then go play because I don;t think you will regret it, I have a blast on stream today and I can’t wait to play more and see where this very cool 40K title goes.
